Dive Bar - 2010-2018 RAM 2500/3500

Product Overview

Install will consist of removing outer tow hook bolts, placing bar on the vehicle and re-installing tow hook bolts.

Tool list

18mm wrench
18mm socket
Ratchet or socket driver

Step 1: Remove tow hook bolts

Remove both outer tow hook bolts on each tow hook using an 18mm socket on the front and 18mm wrench on the back side.

Step 2: Install light mount bar

A friend may be helpful for this step. Set the bar in place by sliding one side into place and then the other side. You may need to slightly rotate the bar up or down and side to side slightly to get the bar to clear the bumper. Be careful not to scratch things! You can tape up the area with masking tape if it is a concern.

Step 3: Install hardware

Re-install factory hardware and tighten. If the bolt holes on the bar are not aligning with the tow hook holes: you may need to loosen all four bolts on the tow hooks. By loosening the tow hooks completely you will create enough play to be able to line up the bolt holes and successfully install the mounting hardware.
