Dive Bar - 2019+ RAM 2500/3500

Product Overview

The Dive Bar consists of two frame mounting brackets and the bar itself. The brackets will be bolted to the frame using factory hardware, then the bar will be bolted to the brackets using supplied hardware.

Tool list

  • 24mm (15/16”) socket

  • 24mm (15/16”) wrench

  • 18mm socket

  • 19mm socket

  • Ratchet or socket driver

Step 1: Install frame brackets

First, locate the tow hook fasteners shown in the photo. They are directly in front of the body mount. These are the bolts that will hold the Dive Bar frame mounts. Start by completely removing the bolt circled in red using an 18mm socket or wrench. Next, Loosen the bolt shown in yellow using your 24mm wrench or socket and slide bolt out about half way- making enough space to slide the frame mount over the bolt (shown in photo below)

Next, re-install the lower bolt and tighten both upper and lower bolts. Note: thread in the upper bolt as much as possible by hand first before installing and tightening the lower bolt.  You will need to use the open end of the wrench to tighten the upper bolt and may need to flip the wrench over after each ¼ turn to accomplish this. Repeat on the other side.

Step 2: Install light mount bar

A friend may be helpful for this step. Slide the bar in place by fishing it through the space between the tow hook and the plastic bumper covers. (You may want to very slightly trim this plastic if there is some interference- not always needed).  The bar mounts to the outside of the frame brackets.

Finally, tighten the supplied hardware with a 19mm socket or wrench that attaches the Bar to the frame brackets.

The install is now complete.
