Step 1: Lay out parts and hardware as shown
The (4) m6 bolts (longer flange head bolts) are to fasten the brackets to the vehicle, the other (12 sets) of ¼-20 bolts, nuts and washers are to assemble the Attic.

Step 2: Assemble the Attic
Set the two halves of the attic on top of the center connector and align the bolt holes. Install all hardware and tighten. The recommended tightening sequence is to tighten the bottom fasteners first, then the sides.

Step 3: Install mounting brackets in the vehicle.
Remove the factory grab handle by removing the small plastic fastener covers with a small screwdriver or pick and then removing the phillips head screws. Install the mounting bracket using the m6 bolts. These brackets are slotted for small amounts of adjustment. If you would like a little more room on top of the attic push the bracket down, If your goal is to have more room below for something such as clearance for a larger tire while using our interior tire carrier you might want to push the bracket all the way up.

Step 4: Install the assembled Attic
After both mounting brackets are installed and tightened you can set the completed attic on top of the mounting brackets. Install and tighten using the remaining fasteners.

The install is now complete.
